Overview

Consultancy is where most good tree work starts: understanding what a tree needs, what it is doing to the space around it, and what your plans mean for it. Tom provides advice and recommendations to regulated standards, whether you are managing a single garden tree or planning a development.

How we approach consultancy

Consultancy outlines any health and safety issues concerning trees and any planned developments — anywhere trees and building work have an impact on people. From there, we can set out a maintenance and management programme for the trees affected.

Advice can continue throughout your development scheme, including monitoring during and after the project, so you have peace of mind that you are taking care of your surrounding environment and meeting your responsibilities.

Protected trees

If a tree is covered by a Tree Preservation Order or sits within a conservation area, you will usually need consent from — or to give notice to — your local planning authority before work. We can check and advise before anything is cut.

In their words

Kind words from customers.

“Tom has looked after our large oaks and willows for several years now. He treats them as if they were his own, only doing work which is necessary for either their health or good shape. He is a pleasure to have around!”
