Hedge cutting & maintenance
Hedge shaping, structural trimming and health work that keeps hedges neat, dense and good for wildlife.

Overview
Hedges give us privacy — and they contain and sustain much of our native wildlife. Looking after them well means thinking about both: a neat, dense hedge for you, and a healthy habitat for the birds and insects that rely on it.

How we approach hedge maintenance
Hedges contain and sustain most of our native wildlife in the UK, and they give us privacy, so their upkeep matters to most people. As responsible people, we should retain our hedgerows — thinking not only of privacy from our neighbours but of the wildlife too.
Trimming a hedge encourages regrowth, enticing insects and birds. As the hedge reshoots it provides nesting habitat for birds, improving the flora and fauna of the surrounding ecosystem.
Nesting season
It's an offence to damage or destroy an active bird's nest. The main nesting season generally runs from March to August, so we check carefully before cutting and may recommend timing work outside it.

Kind words from customers.
“Tom has looked after our large oaks and willows for several years now. He treats them as if they were his own, only doing work which is necessary for either their health or good shape. He is a pleasure to have around!”
